"Y2002 Frédéric Joliot/Otto Hahn Summer School"
The next session
of the Frédéric Joliot/Otto Hahn Summer School in Reactor Physics:
"Modern Reactor Physics and the Modelling of Complex Systems"
will be held in Cadarache (France) from August 21 up to August 30, 2002, under
the headline
"Nuclear Waste Transmutation and Related Innovative Technologies"
As a preliminary program for the school the following topics have been selected:
- Motivations
and Roadmaps for waste transmutation
- The physics and scenarios of transmutation (including data needs)
- The Accelerator Driven System and components
- Technologies and materials: Specific issues related to transmutation
- Nuclear Data
The School Directorate has invited international experts for lecturing.
